I highly recommend The Detachment Workbook, by Kesha Phillips, to anyone struggling with clarity, pattern recognition or breaking negative cycle loops (carousel of crazy is what I call them) hoping to eventually get the desired outcome—that rarely show up or if it does it doesn’t last. It is an essential interactive journal for individuals seeking a highly actionable, no-nonsense approach to personal growth. The Detachment Workbook has been a helpful space for me to notate observed behaviors (internal and those external ones that led me to seek such solace) without rushing my healing, abandoning my instincts or putting my safety on hold. It is a means to gather data and not a requirement to reach a conclusion. Our body often knows before our mind fully comprehends. The Detachment Workbook is meant to support, not override, our internal signals. I’m fortunate to have access to such a helpful healing tool, as well as the creator’s content (@keshaspeaks) that expounds on so many relevant and relatable topics addressing and assessing change.
